• The majority of our beef is 100% grass-fed Aberdeen Angus from Hogshaw Hill Farm near Quainton; part of the Pasture-Fed Livestock Association. Occasionally we source beef from both Scotsgrove Farm and High Hedges Farm, both who rear award-winning beef. However these are not 100% pasture-fed. We buy these when we cannot source our beef from Tom at Hoshaw Hill Farm.

    Hogshaw Hill Farm is a 168 acre, all grass farm in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire which is managed under the Higher Level Environmental Stewardship.

    The herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle graze extensively on the ancient species-rich pasture, which has a huge variety of herbs, wild flowers, white and red clover and other legumes, as well as grasses and they drink only natural spring water emerging from the Quainton Hills.

    All our beef is aged as a carcass for up to as much as six weeks. We firmly believe that by buying superb meat, and hanging it and aging it properly means that you get the best possible meat for your table. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
