A gammon joint is a real favourite in our family.
Simply cover with water, bring to the boil, then simmer for 20 minutes per lb/454g (sorry I learnt to cook in pounds and ounces) then let it sit in the water for another 20 minutes. Perfect with parsley sauce and boiled potatoes. Yum.
Awesome cold, sliced thickly, in sandwiches too.
